In a recent live event, GGG announced Lake of Kalandra expansion and its new features and challenges. The team released a teaser trailer with some new content to look forward to Lake of Kalandra launch on PC and MAC.

The Grinding Gear Games team has been working hard to keep their iconic game Path of Exile fresh and challenging. The expansion will explore a new location with Kalandra Challenge League, new content for Atlas endgame, 14 new unique items, four new gems, over 100 existing unique items, changes to Harvest, Beyond and Archnemesis, balance change etc.

Here is the list of new features from the development team:

Lake of Kalandra League - A mirrored lake that empowers Kalandra to replicate, to fight Wraeclast's reflection to unleash Kalandra's true power.

While traversing the Wraeclast, players will occasionally find mirrored slates, which allow them to place reflections of dangerous encounters in their mirrors and open the portal to Calandra Lake. In the lake, players will experience the reflection of the Wraeclast, encounters that increase in difficulty with more rewards such as POE Orbs. As players progress through the league, they'll unlock special abilities to skip, reroll, and banish the options offered, allowing players to improve the tablet more efficiently. At the end of the game, completed tablets will be able to be itemized to save for later or trade away.

 Atlas Memories for Endgame Improvements - Atlas Memories provides a way to explore endgame content and earn very valuable rewards without having to build an Atlas tree specifically for it. In premium maps you can find rare memory items representing memories of Alva, Niko, Einhar or Kirac. These extremely challenging and rewarding memories can be applied to your Atlas or traded to other players.

 New Balance Changes - Numerous changes have been made to the balance of Path of Exile, including an overhaul of the Liar Ascension class and minion items, with a focus on building defenses and manipulating speed that fit the theme.

 New Skills and Support Gems - This expansion introduces three new skill gems and a new support gem. Three of them focus on lightning and shock. Of course, if you want to strengthen your equipment and complete tasks faster, you can also Buy POE Currency.
