Then I'd suggest that you always train with RuneScape Gold slayer, it shouldn't take too long to reach 70 all in all and maybe just a few weeks in accordance with how long you're on the field each day.

A great setup for Slayer, which is quite inexpensive is to put on a Slayer Helm, or Neitznot (sp?) Helm until you acquire the slayer's helm, Amulet of Glory, Fighter Torso (can easily be acquired within a few hours) Torag's platelegs, Verac's Plateskirt , if you'll be using prayer in your assignments as it grants the prayer bonus, Whip/Dragon Scimitar, Dragon Defender, and Dragon Boots as well as Obsidian Cape (unless you've got the skillcape or firecape).

Keep in mind that this is just a suggestion for your equipment and you are able to switch things to a different level. For instance, you could switch your defender out for an Obsidian shield when you feel like you need the extra protection, and you can always utilize dragon plateleg's if you do not need to repair the barrow's armor, as it degrades during combat.
