The first priority should be the Unique that your build genuinely needs to function properly. Some builds rely on one item to support a key skill, change a mechanic, or provide a major damage increase. Turning that item into a Mythic can therefore produce a much larger improvement than equipping a powerful but unrelated Mythic.
This is an important change in farming philosophy. Rather than following a universal Mythic tier list, look at your own character and identify the item that creates the biggest difference between an incomplete build and a finished one.
Once you know your target, focus on collecting high-power Uniques. An Item Power 850+ Unique is particularly valuable because it can be used in the new Mythic crafting process.
Do not worry too much if the first few drops have poor rolls. A suitable high-power Unique can become crafting material for another attempt. This makes unwanted loot more useful than it might initially appear.
The goal is to keep the farming process moving. Every useful Unique can strengthen your character, while unwanted ones can eventually contribute to another Mythic attempt.
Pandemonium Fragments are another major priority in the new system. Players can obtain these materials from endgame encounters such as the Corrupted Reaper and layered boss activities.
It is worth building a healthy supply before spending them. Four Pandemonium Fragments can be combined with an unwanted high-power Unique through the Horadric Cube to produce a random Mythic from the selected equipment slot.

Kurast Undercity becomes an important part of the farming loop when players have the right Tributes. Armaments Tributes can be upgraded into Mythic Tributes of Armaments, creating a focused way to pursue Mythic rewards at high Torment levels.
Lair Bosses are also valuable, particularly when using Greater or Superior Lair Keys. Encounters involving Mephisto, Belial, and Baal can provide strong opportunities to collect Uniques and other useful rewards.
Baal deserves particular attention because his reward system can provide access to reward choices connected with other boss loot tables. This makes the encounter useful for players who have a specific Unique in mind.
War Plans can also contribute to a more efficient farming routine. Players should consider pathing toward Greater Nemesis nodes when building their endgame routes.
These nodes can create Nemesis Portals that introduce additional boss encounters. More bosses mean more opportunities to obtain Unique items, which fits naturally into the Mythic 3.0 cycle.
The best farming sessions are therefore not necessarily about doing one activity repeatedly. A good route can combine boss encounters, Tributes, high-power Uniques, and crafting materials so that every part of the run contributes to the next attempt.
The biggest lesson from Mythic 3.0 is that players have more reasons to farm according to their own build. A famous Mythic may be excellent, but it is not automatically the best first target.
If your build depends heavily on a particular Unique, securing a strong version of that item should usually come first. After that, Pandemonium Fragments and Resplendent Sparks give you a repeatable path toward a Mythic upgrade.
