Which corner sofa works best for a small living room?

Hi everyone,

I am currently redecorating my living room and seriously considering buying a corner sofa. My room is not particularly large, roughly 4 by 5 metres, so I want to make sure I choose the right size and layout.

I have seen both left hand and right hand configurations online and I am not sure which would suit my space better. Does anyone have experience fitting a corner sofa into a compact room? Any advice on fabric choice, leg style, or whether a chaise end makes a noticeable difference would be really appreciated.
