If you don't love Shadowhunter's demon form skill bar and prefer his standard attacks, then Perfect Suppression is your best build in PvE. Perfect Suppression is built to focus primarily on your human form, and you can add damage to your attacks by using the Shadowburst gauge. While Tripods and gear are very important in this build, you can only perform this operation better if you are very familiar with Shadowhunter. This build is useful when you're facing hundreds of enemies and bosses, which you can slash through with super-damaging blades and demonic power.

While players focus on using Shadowhunter's human form, you can set up your skill bar to your liking because of the variety of ways it's built. But this class has some melee staples: Demonic Slash, Cruel Cutter, Thrust Impact, Sharpened Cut, and Howl. In terms of Tripods, you should focus on crit damage and anything that consumes Shadowburst energy to deal extra damage.

It's important to note that in the Tripods setting, you should focus more on close combat, as most of your abilities are designed to deal devastating early damage, allowing you to better keep your enemy's bloodline down. If you face stronger enemies, you can deal devastating damage by using Cruel Cutter, Howl, and Decimate. Since Cruel Cutter and Demolition drain Shadowburst energy, they are actually your ultimate abilities, so you need to use them to the best effect depending on the situation.

In terms of gems, you should focus on reducing the cooldown of Howl, Cruel Cutter, and Decimate, and use other sockets to increase the damage of other abilities.

In a word, Shadowhunter is a class with extremely strong output ability. If players want to use him better, they need to have a deeper understanding of him.
