I mean, all of Animal Crossing Bells Reddit I see anecdotes mostly, I was just surprised that nobody provided antithesis anecdotes or tried talking to the guy, seems odd for what I had been told of this website before joining.
If you believe a person is inexperienced, surely it'd make sense to talk to them afterward, non? Especially if they're racist, you would want to discuss politely and change them correct? That's what I find strange, that Reddit just downvotes and doesn't actually care. No one affirms the guy is racist, he may have only worded what he meant to say, which perhaps wasn't racist, amazingly stupidly, but nobody gives anyone the opportunity to describe themselves.
That's what is odd, since I was told reddit was a conversation place but it sounds exactly like a Social Media? Not to play devil's advocate but since when was this thread ever empirical at the slightest?
Personally I've found that black folks I've met are equally prone to racism as anyone else (big surprise I know). On websites like Twitter and Reddit however, I would say most of the racist garbage I've seen has come from black folks - typically the most weirdo social outcast activist types.
I am so perplexed why do black men and women want segregation!? Didn't Martin Luther king jr struggle to get rid of it? I am so confused. Is this Twitter being Twitter again? This is this a naive statement. Twitter is made from real folks along with a tweet with enough enjoys and retweets is often enough to have consequences in real life. Countless individuals were"cancelled" after someone posted some shit on Twitter and it blew up, more recently one individual saying that a villain in Assassin's Creed Valhalla having a scar on their face had been"ableist" was enough to create Ubisoft apologize and alter that portion of the game, there are buy animal crossing bells new horizons tons of other examples of how twitter has had an effect on real life.
