I really don't have a issue using NetEase publishing EVE Echoes ISK, however if they are also entirely in control of development and pricing, then I am doubtful the current subscription model will hold. Additionally, as the years go by like CCP 22, to say nothing of maintaining the engine and images up to date does.

Afaik Netease said they are more or less copying CCPs monetization with some twists that were tiny. I don't see why it wouldn't hold unless no cash is spent by people on Eve Echoes. So you can be certain they'll have a word when it comes to such matters CCP remains protecting their IP. In terms of graphic updates. That's something that you may be concerned about in like 5 years if Eve Echoes still runs by that moment. Nobody knows if the marketplace for a pocket eve is actually sustainable.and that the AVG phone power expansion appears to have slowed down hugely. When will an upgrade even be worthwhile?

I'm not sure you're looking at it in a way that is healthy. You should only ask yourself if it's worth your money and more importantly TIME. If yes, game away. Any game could fall from grace. I know for certain main eve has done that occasions. Because they're a company with a negative standing, I'm suspicious of NetEase. Yeah I had been hesitant but they are doing a excellent job at Eve Echoes up to now. I think that their monetization appears to be fair and Buy EVE ISK I will happily pay $ to encourage Eve Echoes. From what I've played so far from the alpha and now the beta, it's the closest thing to eve Internet without becoming too bloated with mechanics and things to do. I can't wait to see Eve Echoes evolve since they add stuff. I will be enjoying with day one for certain. My purpose of not playing is being unable without buying a trainer permit, to market something simple.
