Roger Dubuis is marking its debut as Official Moment Partner at Goodwood Festival of Speed with a hypercar inspired timekeeper.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Huracán Monobalancier is the latest watch inspired by the brand’s partnership with Lamborghini.

The watch took its color palette from the Huracán GT3 EVO2 and carries over a number of other visual cues including Lamborghini’s signature hexagonal honeycomb.
Roger Dubuis has generated a 45mm case within the proprietary Mineral Composite Fibre (MCF) material in pure white as well as dial accents in green, red and also yellow with a white rubber and eco-friendly calf leather strap.

The watch’s twin barrel automatic RD630 calibre features an inclined balance wheel along with wheel side winding rotor. The 88-piece limited edition is available now via Roger Dubuis, with price to follow.

Tell us about the new watch.

More and more we are trying to match specific events together with specific timepieces. We’ve talked about emotions, how better to encapsulate emotions than buying a view which reminds you of a specific moment and that’s why we came up with this watch, that replicates the livery of a Lamborghini GT3 EVO2 and it’s the perfect place to launch such a piece. The colors remind you of the race spirit, there are a little bit of Italy in it, it’s a mix of everything we stand for.

What makes Roger Dubuis together with Lamborghini this type of good fit?

It’s about sharing the same values, Lamborghini is the car brand which usually most closely matches what we do with watches. It’s not the normal supercar, it’s a bit louder, a fresh bit more powerful, it’s an ideal incarnation associated with hypercars and when you discuss hyper timepieces, we are the right incarnation of that.
