Auras can be used to temporarily increase your Runescape experience. These items can be purchased in Solomon's General Store to earn loyalty points. These benefits can't be suspended once activated and will run even after you log out. Auras have a cooldown period which must be finished before being able to be activated again.
Are those membership loyalty points draining your pocket? Here are some options to make use of them.
Auras may not appear like the same thing. While they may seem like anything, the correct aura can make all the impact in combat. Here are seven important auras you should keep in your arsenal.
7. Supreme Accuracy Auras: Brawler, Sharpshooter and Runic Accuracy
These Tier-4 auras help laser-focus your combat, boosting your attack accuracy. Brawler increases Melee Sharpshooter increases Ranged and Runic Accuracy increases Magic. You can pick your favorite mode of combat, or all three.
Stats:
10% improvement in accuracy in the appropriate combat style
1 hour of use and a 3-hour cooling down period
Each aura is worth 57,000 loyalty point. If you haven't bought the previous levels of the aura, the cumulative price is 107,000 loyalty points.
Although these looks may appear simple at first however, a small boost in accuracy can have a significant impact. Accuracy increases kills per hour, which leads to greater experience. Soul Split is more valuable because of its accuracy. These auras guarantee that heavy hits are do not miss.
6. Legendary Jack of Trades Aura
The Jack of Trades Aura is like a minigame and an experience lamp all in one. When you turn on the aura, you're given three hours. You'll gain experience in at most twenty-five skills during that time and receive an experience reward.
Stats:
Award for Level-Based Experience Book for gaining XP after having acquired 25 skill areas
If you are able to complete the 25-skill challenge before aura runs out then you can remove the aura and take advantage of your reward. This aura can only be used once per day. It costs 120,000 loyalty points with a cumulative cost of 225,000 for all levels.
The experience reward matches the level of skill you choose. If, for instance, you choose to go for a level 90 skill, you'll get 20,050 XP in that skill. What's the best aspect? You'll only need to earn 1 experience point in each of the 25 abilities to claim the reward, so you'll be able to complete it in a short time. Easy XP is a fantastic reward!
5. Attack Power Auras: Berserker, Maniacal, Reckless
These supreme auras are similar to the accuracy auras, and enhance your choice of combat style. One will boost your style's damage output and the level of your character by 10%. However, there's one caveat you must consider: Defence level and your protection worsen by 15 percentage. Berserker increases Melee, Maniacal boosts Magic, and Reckless boosts the range of your character.
Stats
The damage output was increased by 10 percent
10% combat style level increase
The Defence Level was reduced by 15%
15% damage taken increase
30 minutes of usage, 5-hour cooldown period
Each aura costs 50k loyalty points.
You can do more damage however, you also suffer more, so plan according to. The power boost stacks with the boosts from an Overload potion, which means you can do loads of damage with each hit. Combine that with Soul Split or Scrimshaw of Vampyrism to beat the Defence drop.
4. Penalties Aura
You are hit and receive 100 points of injury. You receive 5 prayer points restored--if you're using penance. There is no need to go to a priest to perform this penance.
Stats
5% of damage taken restored in prayer points
1 hour of use 3 hours cooling down period
Penance is 23,000 loyalty points. This useful aura could help reduce the need for prayer potions, especially on monsters and semi-bosses with massive damage outputs. Combine it with Soul Split for a powerful combo of healing and prayer restoration.
3. Supreme Reverence Aura
Like Penance, Reverence can enhance your Prayer abilities in two ways. Reverence doesn't depend on how much damage you take, so it's a better option when you're fighting smaller dangers.
Stats
Prayer points are 10 percent slower
Drinking a prayer potion will provide you with 10% more prayer points
1-hour usage, 3-hour cooling down period
This aura is worth the user 57,500 loyalty points for an overall price of 115,000. Use Supreme Reverence when you intend to use Prayers or curses with the highest drain rate. It will allow you to carry fewer potions and bring home more treasure. This is an all-win-win situation.
2. Dark Magic
Don't be fooled by the name, this aura works on all types of combat. If activated, Dark Magic grants a chance (a very small one) that damage you receive will corrupt and damage your opponent. This is dark sorcery for you.
How much damage does it do? This is a bit nebulous. The aura will pick the value that is lower from the following options:
The intensity of the combat style you're using +1, multiplied by 15. For instance, (90 Magic+1) 91x15=1,365 damage OR
5% of your opponent's life points.
The lesser amount unleashes and harms your attacker initially with 100% of that number, then 80 percentage, 64% and 51.2 percent. These attacks based on corruption occur in under 10 seconds.
Like most types of auras, Dark Magic has 1 hour of use and a 3-hour cooldown period. Dark Magic is available to purchase for 42,500 loyalty points.
Dark Magic should be your choice of an aura in the event of a battle with monsters that have a lot of life points. Bring it along the next time you go up against Glacors. The corruption will continue to spread.
1. Vampyrism
While this aura won't cause you to grow fangs, it can allow you to take the blood of your foes. The effect is similar to Soul Split, but it won't drain the prayer points. You will receive healing equal to 5% of your damage output.
For instance, if your attack hits 1,000 damage, you'll get back 50 health points. (Note the healing effect is limited at 50 points per hit).
Stats
5% of your damage output is returned to you in the form of life points
1-hour usage, 3-hour cooling down period
While it's a great standalone option, Vampyrism stacks with Soul Split and Scrimshaw of Vampyrism. It's a go-to aura for any task your Slayer master throws at you.
