So not looking at the computer screen or working while the fleshies are on... is not AFKing... unless you go over 5 minutes. If you're working at your computer, it's ok. If you decide to go away to RuneScape Gold do homework It's not.
It doesn't even matter. To be truthful when they autologize your account even when you're fighting, say bandits, giant spiders and the various other AFK'able learning spots, I'm not aware of anyone has gotten banned - and that's not even banned, as I would guess - from having AFK'd. It's not an issue that Jagex has a video camera of you as you play. However, if you go away, technically, you're AFK but browsing youtube while fishing or doing your homework while fishing is perfectly fine.
Thanks! This is the kind of answer I was seeking. What I've learned: As long as I am still there, it is alright. If I go away for a moment to go to an appointment or washroom the rest is fine. If I leave forever however, it's not ok. It's okay, as you won't be banned, however, it's technically still bannable. But, considering how hard to prove it - I'm pretty sure Jagex cannot tell whether you were browsing forums or not that matters.
If I am on the PC, it's working? Everything is fine. You will not be banned for AFK training. The whole idea seems ridiculous to me. They're trying to get you to stay in Runescape at all times. You're not using an automated system if you AFK train and then AFK train, so what's the problem.
